Cookies Policy

This Cookies Policy explains how Stocked Scout (“we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on stockedscout.com.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help sites remember sign-in sessions, preferences, and security settings. Similar technologies may include local storage used by your browser.

2. How we use cookies

We currently use cookies and similar technologies for:

• Essential / session cookies: to keep you signed in, protect forms, and maintain secure account sessions (Flask session cookies).
• Security: to help prevent abuse of authentication and account features.

We do not currently use advertising cookies or third-party marketing trackers on Stocked Scout. If that changes, we will update this Policy.

3. Managing cookies

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. If you disable essential cookies, sign-in and some account features may not work. Browser controls are usually under Settings → Privacy or Cookies.

4. Third parties

• Stripe: if you start checkout or open the billing portal, Stripe may set its own cookies on Stripe-hosted pages subject to Stripe’s policies.
• Map tiles: map imagery is loaded from third-party tile servers and may involve standard network requests; those providers have their own practices.

5. More privacy information

For how we handle personal data more broadly, see our Privacy Policy.
